Three students of Adeyemi College of Education Ondo, today were not in the cards as a driver was said to have hit them at the popular Catholic Junction along Ore
and flew away. The students of the great citadel of learning tried all their best in holding the driver down but all effort lost when ACE Okada rider (Motorcyclist) refused to be of help in chasing after the driver who was later said to be a Clergyman. According to report, the Okada rider refuse to chase after the driver lodgingcomplains that they are out of fuel ⛽ and some saying their bike engine is not OK.
The students vows to stop all okada activities within the campus area henceforth, some students due to the reactions of the okada riders make attempt in blocking the road leading to Ore, a reaction which was later clue down due to the influence of the Dean Students Affairs and heavy rainfall.
The driver was later said to have make a report of himself in the Police Station. The students at the Police Stationinsisted that the Police must provide the driverbecause they can see his SUV inside the policeStation, the situation when about to lead to a riot gave the Police no option than to shoot in the air. An Arbican was said to have been detained by thePolice but was later released.
The victims were reported to have been responding to treatment at Gani Fawenmi Diagnosis Centre, Trauma Centre by the Dean Students Affairs, AdeyemiCollege of Education, Ondo.
