Arsenal begin their Carabao Cup campaign with a third round clash against an out of sorts Brentford. The Gunners will be keen to make a solid start and should have the upper hand against the Bees, who have struggled to find their best form lately.

Brentford needed penalties to see off League Two side Newport County in the previous round of the Carabao Cup on  live stream.



Although Brentford eventually came out victorious, they were far from their best and that performance has been a familiar thread in their campaign so far.

Things appear to have gotten worse for Brentford in recent weeks as they have lost their last two matches.
