Popular media on-air personality, Oladotun Kayode, widely known as Dotun, has pleaded for calm, especially online, after the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke, Davido’s son.

He took to his Twitter page on Tuesday morning to urge fans and colleagues of Davido to avoid any insensitive posts after the reports that the music star lost his son a few hours ago.

“Clicks over empathy. Fans over family.. Using our Fingers over using our head. I hope we all see how the world thinks now?

“May God give us the wisdom to preserve our mind; bridle our excesses and bear it all on behalf of the family. We are not important. They are.”

He also pleaded with ‘perfect parents’ to resist the urge to criticize the Adeleke’s as this is not the best time to teach them how to be better parents.

“How do we start a month with this..How.. Please, Perfect parents, this is not the time to say what they should have done or not done right. Like, can you just mourn and keep your advice for now.”
