No Amount Of Nagging, Pleading Or Intimacy Can Make A Man Stay
Uriel Oputa
Ex-BBNaija housemate and chef, Uriel Oputa has taken to her Instastories to advise women about relationships with men.
According to Uriel, “A man will only stay if he wants to stay. No amount of nagging, pleading, or intimacy will change that.”
She explained that men are wired differently when it comes to commitment, making decisions based on a more straightforward approach.
While women consider emotions, shared experiences, and long-term dreams, men tend to be more direct, deciding early on whether they’re “in” or “out”.
Uriel noted that men are biologically predisposed to focus on solutions and outcomes, influencing their views on relationships.
Their commitment often comes down to what they’ve decided early on – no amount of persuasion can change their mind if they’ve already made up their mind.
She emphasizes self-worth, encouraging women to recognize when a relationship isn’t meant to be and value themselves.
“A man will only stay if he wants to stay. No amount of nagging, pleading, or intimacy will change that. Why? Let me explain.
Men are wired differently when it comes to commitment. psychologically, they tend to be more straightforward in how they make decisions about relationships. While women often weigh emotions, shared experiences, and long-term dreams, men generally take a more binary approach: they’re either in or out from the start.”
“Men are biologically predisposed to focus on solutions and outcomes, and this affects how they see relationships too. Their commitment often comes down to what they’ve decided early on-no amount of bending over backward will change their mind if they’ve already made up their mind. So, ladies, remember: you can’t ‘convince’ someone to love you or stay if it isn’t what they already feel or want.”
