Beetlejuice Beetlejuice star Michael Keaton explains how he knew the movie would be a box office hit. The long-awaited sequel has grossed more than $400 million worldwide since its theatrical debut. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice‘s opening box office got off to a strong start with a worldwide total of $!46.4 million and $111 million domestically and did not slow down from there as it became the second highest grossing movie of all time to be released in September.
While speaking with Collider about his newest movie, Goodrich, Keaton was asked what it meant to him to see Beetlejuice Beetlejuice crossing the $400 million mark at the global box office. He emphasized that it meant a great deal to him after spending years wanting to make a sequel to the original Beetlejuice movie released in 1988. Keaton also broke down how he knew the movie was going to do well, although its level of financial success has exceeded even his expectations. Check out his comments below:

Then I would have years where I didn’t think about it at all, or I’d say, “Yeah, I think we missed it, so let’s just not worry about it anymore.” But I always knew. I think the only reason you know some of this stuff is you’ll be out, and somebody will say something like this gentleman here just said, “Man,

” You know what’s out there.“It’s my favorite thing!” Plus, I loved it and I knew it was unique. I knew it was unusual. So, I always thought at worst —
