Arsenal begin their Carabao Cup campaign with a third round clash against an out of sorts Brentford. The Gunners will be keen to make a solid start and should have the upper hand against the Bees, who have struggled to find their best form lately.

Although Brentford eventually came out victorious, they were far from their best and that performance has been a familiar thread in their campaign so far.
