Popular media personality, Toke Makinwa has slammed Nigerians for always shaming women for their age.

The multimedia personality and fashion entrepreneur shared her point of view on her Instagram Story.

Makinwa shared a picture of American reality star, Khloe Kardashian and wrote:

“This is a 37 year old woman, Kim is 40. Nobody calls them old. Nigerians are quick to age you and shame you with age.”

The 36-year-old added:

“Nigerians with the constant “you don’t know you’re almost 40”, like 40 is a plague. Yet when they see JLo at 50 and all the comments you see is “wow”. We are our own problem”.
