Former presidential candidate and leader of the RevolutionNow activist group, Omoyele Sowore, has been charged by the Department of State Services for conspiracy to commit treason by allegedly staging a revolution campaign.

The RevolutionNow activist was also accused of doing an interview that was purposely done to cause insult on the person of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Top Nigerian celebrities Don Jazzy and Adekunle Gold have reacted to the charged against the activist. They expressed shock at the charges leveled against the activist.

According to Don Jazzy, it is sad to watch the way Sowore is being treated. He added that the activist only meant well for the country.
