SHEFFIELD UNITED have enjoyed a fantastic season with promotion back to the Premier League a certainty and an FA Cup run to the semi-finals.

But they now have the unenviable task of trying to stop arguably Europe’s best team just now when they entertain Manchester City at Wembley,

Perhaps the Blades can take comfort from the fact Pep Guardiola’s side seem to have some kind of semi final hoodoo recently – they have been eliminated at this stage in the last three years.

But they are in excellent form at the moment and clinched a Champions League semi final mouthwatering tie against Real Madrid after a 1-1 draw in Germany in midweek against Bayern Munich
