Tom Holland Cast In Christopher Nolan’s Next Movie

Tom Holland has been cast in Christopher Nolan‘s next movie. Matt Damon was previously reported to be the first actor to join the cast of the secretive project, which is being distributed by Universal Pictures, and is scheduled for a July 17, 2026 theatrical release, including in IMAX theaters. This will be Damon’s third Christopher Nolan movie after previously playing Dr. Mann in Interstellar and General Leslie Groves in the Academy Award-winning Oppenheimer.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Holland has now joined the cast of Nolan’s next movie as well. His role, like all plot and character details about the movie so far, remains under wraps, although the story is reportedly not set in the present day. Nolan is both directing and writing the script for the movie and will once again be working alongside his wife and producing partner Emma Thompson. As for Holland, this will be his first role in movies or television since starring in the 2023 Apple TV+ series The Crowded Room.
