Ned Nwoko, a former member of the House of Representatives, surprised his young actress wife, Regina Daniels, with a sum of $50,000 (roughly N20.5m) for Christmas.

The excited mother-of-one took to her Instagram story to share the screenshot of the credit alert from her 61-year-old husband.

She wrote, “Thank you baby. Even if I’m just home. Christmas is lit.”

The 21-year-old also took to her Instagram page to share Christmas photos of herself and her son, Munir.

She captioned the photo, “We’re definitely on the cute list. Merry Christmas everyone. May this season be full of light and laughter for you and your family.”
