Popular Yoruba actress, Bimbo Akinsanya has taken to her Instagram page to lament over the dead being celebrated more than the living.

She wrote:

“To post people’s birthday or any celebration doesn’t excite many but if it’s death/scandal it’s alarming how many timelines get flooded. But why? A country where we celebrate the dead more than the living mtcheeewwww.

If I celebrate you or celebrate with you doesn’t mean I’m doing attache, you all know I don’t do that anyways. I don’t look for unnecessary familiarity. I started celebrating people more when Moji Olaiya died. May her soul continue to rest on. We are so quick to write RIP.”
