Wizkid has become the first Nigerian artist to be nominated for an NAACP Image Award.

Wizkid received a nomination for the Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration category at the 51st NAACP Image Awards for his collaboration with Beyonce on her single Brown Skin Girl.

The NAACP Image Awards is an annual awards ceremony presented by the U.S.-based National Association for the Advancement of Colored People to honor outstanding performances in film, television, music, and literature.
