Grammy award winning Nigerian artist, Burna Boy has won the BET Best International Act 2021 for the third consecutive year in a row.

The 2021 BET Awards was held on Sunday night and the theme this year was “Year of the Black Woman” to celebrate black women worldwide.

Recalls that Burna Boy was nominated in the same category alongside Wizkid. They were the only Nigerian artists battling against Aya Nakamura (France), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Emicida (Brazil), Headie One (UK), Young T & Bugsey (UK) and Youssoupha (France) to clinch the coveted award.

The “23” crooner shared a video of himself flaunting the award plaque in his hands on his Instagram Story.
