Famous Nigerian actor and Tv host Chidi Mokeme has gone on social media to again express his disappointment over a deleted tweet by the presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubakar, condemning the killing of Deborah Samuel.

Chidi posted an Instagram video where he was seen sobbing because he remembered the deleted tweet.

On May 12, 2022, Deborah Samuel, a second-year Christian student, was lynched and burnt by her colleagues at Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto, over alleged blasphemy.

After her death, Atiku Abubakar condemned the barbaric act through his social media pages.

However, after some of his supporters threatened not to vote for him because he rebuked the lynching, Atiku deleted the post and said he did not approve the posts.

Chidi Mokeme, who reconsidered the event, disclosed that he had a lot of respect for Atiku but was greatly hurt by the fact that he deleted the tweet.
