REQUEST FOR BETTER WELFARISM AND RE-CONSIDERATION
Administrative greetings to your magnanimous personality, from the leadership of
the above named association, a conglomerate of articulate, vibrant and
Quintessential, Ekimogun Students dedicated to the protection, defense and
advocacy of students’ interest within Ondo kingdom and Diaspora.
The attention of the leadership of the above named union has been drawn to the
press release by the School management of Adeyemi College of Education
through the Student Union Government (SUG) on Tuesday 23rd June, 2020 on the
subject proposed matter ONLINE LECTURES AND EXAMINATION.
Federation of Ondo Ekimogun Students’ Union (National Body) having made it
her priority to be committed and dedicated to the welfarism of it is members,
Wishes to call the attention of the Management to the Proposed Online classes
for students in the institution after looking at the measure put in place for
students to have full access to the online classes.
After deliberating with some of our Union members who are students of the
institution we realised a large number of them cannot have access to the
materials required for the online class.
Critically looking at the resources that will be needed, which are;

A good 4G network
Electricity
Data
Student convenience
The union realised that most students cannot have access to all this.
As a matter of fact, some has not paid for the school fees, some cannot afford
Data subscription, some do not have access to Android devices not to talk of a
laptop. Some don’t even have access to Network in their various locations. To a
reasonable extent, we don’t think the development can work
But If the Institution decides to go on with the process then the following must be
made available for students:
Data subscription for all students.
A direct and well developed site for teaching should be provided.
Modes of exams should be changed.
Online lectures for all
Physical exams for all but in batches.
