Farida Abdulkabir, a popular Lagos State socialite, who is popularly known as Farida Sobowale, tried to kill herself by jumping into a lagoon in Lagos.

She later explained why she wanted to plunge into a lagoon on the Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos.
