Liverpool Vs West Ham (EPL 2022/23)

The Reds remain without Luis Diaz and Joel Matip, with the former not expected back until after the World Cup with a knee issue. Diogo Jota has joined that duo in the physio room after he was stretchered off against City with a calf injury, with Klopp confirming he will also miss the World Cup.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to be restored to the XI after starting out on the bench against City. Ibrahima Konate, Arthur Melo, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, meanwhile, all remain out of action.

West Ham ended up playing just one centre-back against Southampton in Thilo Kehrer, with Craig Dawson and Kurt Zouma struggling on the sidelines. Both are touch-and-go to make the journey to Anfield, but Moyes will be hoping to have at least one back. Summer signing Nayef Aguerd has also returned to training, but it will be a little while before he is match fit, while Maxwel Cornet is earmarked for a return at the end of the month.
