Manchester City vs Arsenal (FA Community Shield 2023)

The highly-anticipated Community Shield match to mark the beginning of the 2023/2024 season has been set, with Manchester City scheduled to face Arsenal.

The confirmation of this fixture came after Manchester City’s thrilling 2-1 victory over Manchester United in the FA Cup final on  live stream.

Ilkay Gundogan emerged as the hero for the Premier League champions, scoring both goals, while Bruno Fernandes managed to pull one back for the Red Devils from the penalty spot. As per tradition, the Community Shield is traditionally contested between the holders of the league title and the winners of the FA Cup.

However, since Pep Guardiola’s men clinched the Double, securing both titles, they will now square off against Arsenal, who finished behind them in the Premier League.
