Music has been a rampant thing in Nigeria. I can boldly say that Music and Entertainment have been the platform promoting Nigeria to some other countries worldwide.  Every year, thousands of Nigerian Youths do succeed with their music with massive fanbases.

Teaching, on the other hand, is a good profession to be candid. I am not disposing that Youths should not go into teaching; but according to my research and findings, there are some factors affecting Youths that made them not go into teaching.

Being a teacher or educationist in Nigeria is a proud achievement that society do embrace a lot. But Youths of nowadays are afraid to go into teaching even with good results from their respective institution of learning.

While I was growing up as a Youth, we do have debates among my colleagues about what we are going to do after our Senior WAEC. Thou, not all of us were willing to work after their SSCE because they were from a rich family.

As a student that is from a poor background, we have to hustle hard and support our parents with funds so that we can be able to go into higher institutions of learning. Some of my friends insist that they were going to be teaching in a school but they were afraid of not being deprived of their salaries.

Back then most of my friends did not go into teaching because of the fear of owing them salaries. Now, that is an example related to lower grades, I mean SSCE level.

In reference to the things happening in the education sector in Nigeria presently, many youths would never wish to go into teaching.

Some of the reasons why Nigerian youths would never wish to go into teaching are listed below:

• Being deprived of their salaries
• Stress
• Most of them do not have the ability to teach.

Those three reasons I listed below are what I think is affecting Nigerian Youths of going into teaching.
